Thanksgiving.jpgHappy Thanksgiving, everyone! Here at Impulse Creative, we have a lot to be thankful for, like time off with our families and a fun place to work. We are also very thankful to work for a company that is constantly providing positive and trackable results to our clients, often times accomplished with content marketing. Here’s a few reason why we are thankful for content marketing, and you should be too:

It’s Frees Up Your Budget

Small businesses now have the opportunity to craft their message and get it out to the world in an instant for free, on social media platforms, their website, emails, and on blogs. By no longer paying for expensive and ineffective outbound marketing tactics, like radio ads and direct mail flyers, you’re saving a lot of money that can be used more efficiently. What could your company accomplish with your extra savings?

It Encourages Authenticity

Through content marketing, brands are giving their potential and current customers a glimpse into the inner workings of their company, their employees, and creation of their products. People love this! Consumers are much more likely to purchase from a company if they like the CEO/Owner and feel connected to the brand.

Sometimes, small and medium sized, locally-owned businesses can do a better job at creating original content than big corporations. A proper content marketing strategy levels the playing field and gives businesses of all sizes the opportunity to create relevant, helpful, and unique content that people will find through organic searches and share with their friends.

It Provides Real Results

Marketers who create blog content are 13x more likely to see positive ROI from their inbound marketing, according to HubSpot. It also contributes to more qualified Leads, who have a greater chance of converting. In the same HubSpot report, over 50 percent of marketers say their inbound Leads are already at least somewhat knowledgeable with the company before speaking with sales. Being able to convert people into a customer, and having solid data to prove that, is something we can all be thankful for.

It Keeps Your Customers Loyal

Content marketing isn’t only helpful in attracting new customers; it’s also essential in keep your current customers coming back for repeat purchases. In fact, a recent report found that 54 percent of consumers will disconnect from a brand if they don’t get relevant, organic content from that company. That means low quality, spammy emails and social media posts are actually hurting you, not helping. If you aren’t putting the needed effort into a quality social media presence, that needs to be a priority from now on.

There you have it: five reasons content marketing provides the kind of remarkable results we should all be thankful for! Do you have any extras you would add? Tweet me or sound off in the comment section below if you have any more.
