An API key is a way to connect two or more computer programs in order for them to communicate back and forth.
API keys in particular give unrestricted access to your HubSpot portal, which can cause security issues.
On November 30, 2022, HubSpot's API keys will no longer work.
That means if any of your integrations (Zaps, custom workflows, server-less functions, etc. ) rely on HubSpot API keys, they will not work by the end of November unless you fix the access.
Impulse Creative is ready to help you update your integrations to prevent any system outages.
🔑 It's not just a magic key.

Our team and HubSpot recommend migrating to a private app ahead of the deadline.
A private app has more granular control over access because of scopes (permissions).
Quite simply, all the features you know and love about HubSpot will break. If you use webhooks, custom Zaps, extensions, etc. they will not be able to communicate with HubSpot without a private or public app.
You may receive urgent or incorrect notices regarding authorization leading up to the sunset on Nov. 30, 2022.
Do not take action until you check with a developer.

Yes, but portals should be the first priority.
If you are an existing client or worked with Impulse Creative between April 1, 2022 and now, a project manager or strategist will contact you directly with details on migration.
If you are a new client, we offer a package to find and fix 1-2 API keys at $1,000.*
*This will depend on how you use specific API keys and how you want your apps and integrations to function. If you already know or have documentation of the API keys in use in your portal, we may be able to fix them without the Find & Fix package for about $450.
