Sensitive Data in HubSpot, Finally!
The Day's News From a Business Perspective
Hey again my friend!
Time is weird. This week seems to have flown by. So do the last 5 years (I celebrated that milestone at Impulse Creative this month). And yet some days drag on. Forever. Time is weird, isn't it?
Speaking of time... Now that we're nearing the end of the first month of Q2, how are you preparing for summer? Do you have warm weather campaigns to build? Does your office have summer hours?
Not to scare you, but if your summer includes marketing and sales campaigns, it's probably time to get on that. Ready for the Impulse LearnUp content? Let's go!
How does a call to action become magical? When it's so compelling that it leads to conversions.
How do we know? We audited our own CTAs when HubSpot launched its reimagined CTA editor. We looked at our own historical CTA performance and what made our audience take that step.
We put that knowledge into this resource, for curious people like you!

WHAT WE'RE READING
Googleβs Thinking About Charging For Its AI-Powered Search Engine
Could it soon cost you to explore the internet, and even search? Possibly. In this resource shared by Liv, we're learning that Google is considering charging for the service, putting one of its core products behind a paywall for the first time ever.
HubSpot announced a reconfiguration of its CMS and Marketing Hubs. We're reading up on what it means for tool features, pricing, and strategy.
The role of content has evolved beyond just a lead generation tool. Marketers need to create more content than ever before, distribute it across more channels at more points in the customer journey, and make it highly personal to the buyer. With Content Hub, get everything you need to create and manage content at scale.
A new HubSpot update means you can store some sensitive data in your CRM!
HubSpot has long said in its terms & conditions that sensitive data is not welcome in your CRM. But that's changing. In this orange hat update from Kyle Jepson, we get a preview of how sensitive data could live in your database.
Note: As Kyle mentions, this isn't yet HIPAA compliant. Maybe that's something we can hope for after this update!
This recommendation comes from our newest Director, Amanda. The most important stories, explained through the lens of business. A podcast about money, business and power. Sounds like a great way to understand the news of the day.
Liv recommended an episode from our very own Tyler, where he gets to know a teammate: I used my introduction coffee chat with Brad to record some content. If anyone is interesting in learning more about his journey from Opera Singer to UX Designer, check it out!
Getting Nerdy About Field Types in HubSpot Properties
Not much to say here about Remington's share other than, "π."
HubSpot updated its date property field type so we an now choose settings like "days allowed" and future or specific dates. Love it!
What would you do with this property rules update?
MEME MOUNTAIN
From GIFs to emojis to TikToks and beyond, we're always climbing Meme Mountain. π€ Whatever that means. π€· The point: We love our internet culture. Here's something from the team recently: The SNL skit with Ryan Gosling.
"He just put it in bold!!!"
