Community + Learning = Business Magic
Weighted Meeting Rotations Coming to HubSpot
There's a Hell, Michigan?!
Hey again my friend!
Here at Impulse Creative, our culture of curiosity extends to everyone on the team and every subject. For instance, we formed an AI Council where we learn from each other and the resources around us.
Cathy, one of our council members, shared this paraphrased quote from an event she attended. I think it's a very hopeful idea: AI can do the mundane, but only people can do the messiness and creativity.
With that at the front of our minds, let's get into the learning!
With each new episode of the LearnUp Podcast, we bring experience and insight (and no shortage of opinions) on what's new in HubSpot.
In this recent episode, we discuss updates in HubSpot Content Hub's Memberships and Helpdesk. Learn how new features streamline workflows, which improve user experience.

WHAT WE'RE READING
Google Search Document Leak: What We Know and Why It Matters
There was a leak at Google recently, and documents reveal how Google Search is using (or has used) clicks, links, content, Chrome data, and more for ranking. While it doesn't tell us everything, the treasure trove does give us an unprecedented look inside Google Search and some of the most important elements Google uses to rank our content.
P.S. Check out our What We're Listening To section for a podcast on why Google Search isn't going anywhere soon.
While this AMA is closed, we still found some great chatter in it. Irina Nica, Jennifer Stone, Gabe Wahhab, Jan Bogaert, and Danny Vendrell, Product Marketers at HubSpot, fielded questions of all kinds.
For instance, someone asked about a Knowledge Base chatbot and why it doesn't always "get it right." Do you think shorter articles are better than longer ones? Check out that answer and others in the AMA forum.
As big fans of both community and learning management, this share from HubSpot's Evan Hamilton resonated with our team. Brian Oblinger's resource gives a compelling case for why customer learning and community should be nestled together.
Rachel S. shared this one, as she's helping clients with their Google ads in the age of AI. "Google Ads AI Essentials checklist they just released with all these newly announced tools."
According to Google, their Google AI tool promises to multiply your business results by helping you drive new customer connections, build high-quality creative, and make confident decisions grounded in insights. Curious? Check out the resource!
An Update in Sales Hub and Service Hub Pro Levels and How It Impacts You
If you're managing a team of reps in either sales or service, round robin meeting links can be wonderful. They can also fall short.
HubSpot has a new beta you can opt into, where you can have weighted meeting rotations, giving preference to specific reps. Kyle Jepson gives us the details.
Why Google Search Isnβt Going Anywhere Anytime Soon
With changes coming fast and furious thanks to generative AI, the question "Is Google's dominance in search engines at risk with the rise of generative AI models?" is on many minds. In this episode of The Next Wave, we find out why Google Search seems safe. For now.
I recently had a client nerd out with me about marketing emails. We were exploring email tactics and strategy in a training session, and they shared a tool focused on design inspiration.
After all, it can be difficult to create something fresh and new, coupled with the need to keep innovating copy and other email deliverability needs. So here's a tool to help inspire some really good emails.
From GIFs to emojis to TikToks and beyond, we're always climbing Meme Mountain. π€ Whatever that means. π€· The point: We love our internet culture. Here's something from the team recently - my family, actually! We recently took our exchange student an a trip to Hell. Did you know there's a Hell, Michigan?
