Google Search to become more “visual, snackable, personal, and human”
Google recently added new ways to find and explore diverse perspectives on Search.
This news got our attention twice in our #learnup channel.
Brigette posted the insight article from Search Engine Land with this: " Are some big changes coming to Google Search? 👀"
Then Stephen shared the Google blog with their perspective, and his top takeaway: In addition to making it easier to find authentic perspectives, we're also improving how we rank results in Search overall, with a greater focus on content with unique expertise and experience. Last year, we launched the helpful content system to show more content made for people, and less content made to attract clicks. In the coming months, we’ll roll out an update to this system that more deeply understands content created from a personal or expert point of view, allowing us to rank more of this useful information on Search.

Me: "An interesting use of AI from Zapier."
Remington: "So many potential security issues with letting ChatGPT read your emails. Once it's a closed system (we'll see what that pricing looks like soon I hear) then maybe. But the potential for a breach is pretty high. What a weird world we live in."
We're exploring all the AI talk with caution as you can see. There's a lot people aren't considering with all these very cool ideas.
