Here's an interesting piece we found from HubSpot. If you're wondering what our career field could look like with AI on the rise, this is a great read. And it's not just guessing. HubSpot includes real data and examples.
In the constant evolution of search, you may be wondering about the latest trends. Are people actually still using Google? Typing or using voice? How did COVID-19 impact peoples' searches? What can we do as businesses?
Semrush put together comprehensive insights in their State of Search report. A couple of takeaways:
> Even though the world was affected by global economic changes and crises, most industries had shown growth and regained their levels of online search traffic by the end of 2022.
> Last year actually marked a three-year downward trend in the number of ranking domains, according to our State of Search data. This may be due in part to some of the indexing issues Google faced last year, or the likelihood that itโs better than ever at fighting spam and removing irrelevant domains from its index.
Work on getting found, even as SEO evolves. Constantly.
Stephen F. calls this "a really good and quick video tutorial from one of my favs."
This is a great look at how to extract new high-intent keyword opportunities from your existing content. It's one of the fastest ways to identify low-hanging fruit.
And while the creator uses Ahrefs for most of his work, Stephen says you could still accomplish exactly the same with other tools like Semrush.
It can be tough finding good sales podcasts. Here's one we found on the HubSpot Podcast Network with some engaging converssations: Everyone is looking for help in sales, yet so few are willing to give it unselfishly. Richard Harris and Scott Leese have teamed up to bring their best advice from their own life experiences, real-world job experiences, and what they see sales reps and leaders do right and, equally, do wrong so you can be the best at your craft as well. And yeah, there will be the occasional surf story.
