Get More Leads on your Website... Then What?

When we overhaul or create a clients website, many times they see an influx or improvement in the amount of leads they get from their website. There are also times that when we talk with our clients about the rest of their marketing plan or strategy . Often we are surprised with the answer we get when we ask the following question...

"What do you do when you get a lead?"

Most Times we get an answer like this...

"I call them within 2 business days" or "I shoot them and email right away".

While both of these answers are different ways to respond to a lead there is proof that if you respond to a lead within 5-10 minutes of someone submitting their information that you are 80% more likely to close that deal because of the first impression you leave with the prospect. Not only will you impress them, but you'll also catch them while they are thinking about your goods or services.

Many experts say that while prospecting or getting leads that there will be 5-7 "touches" before you get the lead, this could be 3 emails, 2 phone calls and a meeting to close the deal. Do you attempt to reach out to your leads this many times?

When we bring this point across to some* of our prospective clients, they say that they don't have the time to "always" have that kind of follow up. Often they are leaders in their industry and are very busy. But there is a very simple answer and it's not rocket science.
