How we increased leads by over 1000% in 1 month!

Getting More Leads is one of the primary reasons that we have customers come to us. While onboarding the client we go through various questions to pry into their businesses' progress, position, and goals. While going through these questions we go over the fundamentals of what it takes in 2013 to succeed online.

As with much of the world, we had some New Years Resolutions, One of ours was to double our website traffic in the first 3 months of the year.

Why did we choose to double traffic rather than jump strait to leads?

Because everything we know about internet marketing and the inbound marketing funnel shows that in order to increase the number of qualified leads you have to increase the number of qualified visitors coming to your website.

The key word to pay attention to is "Qualified", visitors who are looking for your business not neccessarily for who you are, but looking for what you do.

So How Did We Do It?

  1. We have a Powerful Website: Our Website is informative, provides helpful information to the prospect, and sets a good impression. (would you agree?)
  2. We Blogged 3 Times a Week: Original content that has strategy behind it is the secret weapon for getting qualified leads. Blogging Frequency has been proven to generate more results. Hubspot reports that Companies that blog get 55% more web traffic and we have to agree!
  3. We Participated in Social Media: Something to mention here is that we "Participated" We shared other's links, we answered questions where we could, and we provided our blog posts as answers (came up with some great ideas too) or used other pages on our website as a resource to help people with other questions. In particular, Linked In drove alot of the traffic to our website this month due to a few perfectly placed answers with in the LinkedIn Groups. In order to find those opportunities you have to Listen. Social Listening Should be a Priority for ANY marketer in 2013.

In Conclusion, one of the important aspects of this case is we measured our progress. SMART Marketing requires you to know how to measure progress.
