For business, how to pages, reviews and probably the most popular out there right now, gaming! So let's see how you can grow you presence on this powerful and popular video platform.
Once you have your camera, your microphone is hot, you're killing it with charisma, your page is up and pretty, you're ready to make some kick ass content and get found.
A lot of YouTubers make the mistake of trying to be a jack of all trades, trying to showcase multiple subjects that is sometimes irrelevant to what their page stands for.
If a viewer subscribes to a page thatβs heavy on movie reviews, they'll abandon ship if you start showcasing funny cat moments videos.
PRO TIP: Stop it. Donβt be all over the place. It gets messy. Stick to a theme and play to your strengths, people like to rely on a page to get a specific thing and if youβre all over the place that will most likely turn them off faster than a claustrophobic traveler in a Smart Car.
So how do you get more subscribers, views and like?
Keywords!
Get those keywords out there people! In the title, and descriptions. Doing so provides the algorithm the information needed to attract users to your video.
Lay it on thick, donβt be afraid to be blunt. Your video is about better marketing tips then go for a title like The Best Hospitality Brand Conversational Marketing Tactics for Your Homepage! CLICK TO WIN A HELICOPTER!!! ... Okay maybe skip that last part. But what a clickbait title that would be! ππ
Be sure to use your keywords in the title, the description and the tags. We suggest using a tool like TubeBuddy to help you manage your keywords.
Customize Those Thumbnails
Thumbnails make all the difference when viewers are scrolling. Don't just grab a bad capture in the middle of your video that shows you looking drunk. Or worse, a boring thumbnail that doesn't tell a story.
Instead, make something that will catch someoneβs eye, usually big colorful bright words stick out and scream HEY CLICK ME! THIS VIDEO IS AWESOME! DO IT!
You can use a highlight spot of your video as a thumbnail if you have some editing experience and you have an advantage to make it look awesome. Or create something entirely new. Here's a great example. π
Create Content Worth Viewing
Maybe it goes without saying, but quality content is key. All the key wording and thumbnail baiting in the world will not matter if you're putting up content that turns people away.
Mae sure you're providing value and creating content that's worth viewing. Make videos that leave the viewer feeling like they really got something out of their time with you. That's the end game.
No, not that end game. The end game of getting more subscribers and views. Quality content will help viewers fall in love with your page and they'll be more likely to hit that like and subscribe button.
Social Media Sharing
You probably have a profile for every social media out there right? Put them to use! Sharing your masterpiece can be done with a few easy clicks of the mouse so there's no excuse to not share. Networking equals more views, subscriptions and likes.
End screen calls to action also help viewers check out your other content and lures them to your page which will most likely make them subscribe. Giving them a good twenty seconds before the end of video should be enough time to grab their attention.
Some of these tips will work but remember, it also takes some time to see some increased traffic for your video content. Be patient, keep those videos coming out while practicing some of these methods i mentioned and sooner rather than later you will see a huge difference in your subs, views, and likes.
