FIG. 01 · OVERVIEW

Most companies pay for dozens of tools and can't answer one question across them. We audit what you own, map the overlaps, and design the integration plan that puts your intelligence in one queryable system. You cut spend and get a stack that can grow.

FIG. 02 · WHERE IT LIVES

Tech Stack Audit is a Layer 03 service.

Every service we offer maps to one of four layers. Tech Stack Audit sits in the Kernel — the layer that owns RevOps & HubSpot admin.

LAYER 01
The Surface
Websites & customer portals
Public interface — read by humans, agents, AEO crawlers.
LAYER 02
The Voice
Brand & omni-channel
Story rendered consistently in every format an LLM might cite.
LAYER 03
Tech Stack Audit LIVES HERE
The Kernel
RevOps & HubSpot admin
Source of truth every agent calls first. Clean, opinionated, agent-ready.
LAYER 04
The Agents
AI consulting & co-pilots
Autonomous teammates running on the kernel.

An audit that ends in architecture.

The average mid-market company pays for dozens of tools, and several of them do the same job. Each one holds a slice of customer intelligence the others can't see. The result is money out the door and answers nobody can pull.

The audit inventories everything: every subscription, every seat, what each tool actually does, and where its data goes (or doesn't). We map the overlaps and mark which system should own each job.

Then we design the consolidation: one system of record, with integrations wired so intelligence flows into a kernel every team and every agent can query. You leave with a roadmap, a savings number, and an architecture built for growth.

The process.

PHASE01

Discover · inventory the stack

Every tool, seat, subscription, and data flow, with annual spend attached.

PHASE02

Expose · map the overlaps

Which tools claim the same job and hold the same data. We name the system of record for each.

PHASE03

Wire · design the integration

A consolidation roadmap: what to cut, what to keep, and how the keepers feed one queryable kernel.

PHASE04

Operate · run the coherent system

Your team works from one source of truth, with reporting that covers the whole stack.

What the audit ships.

OUT 01
Complete stack inventory
Every tool, seat, and dollar in one document, with owners and renewal dates.
OUT 02
Overlap and gap map
Where tools duplicate each other, and where intelligence falls through.
OUT 03
Consolidation savings number
The annual dollars recovered by cutting duplicates, with the cut list to match.
OUT 04
Kernel integration roadmap
The wiring plan that puts every keeper's data in one queryable system.

Things people ask before booking.

Do we need to be on HubSpot?

Strongly preferred. The whole point is that lifecycle data, automation, and reporting all live in one source of truth that every system (and every agent) can read. We can scope an engagement against another stack — Salesforce, Pipedrive, raw spreadsheets — but the architectural moves we recommend assume HubSpot is the kernel.

Can you work alongside our existing agency?

Yes. We do this on most engagements. Impulse Creative owns the architecture and the parts of the build that touch the kernel — your existing agency keeps running campaigns, content, paid, whatever they're already doing well. We document the seams so nothing breaks when work moves between teams.

What does success look like at 90 days?

Most engagements move you from L1 (Disconnected) to L3 (Instrumented) inside one quarter. Concretely: the architecture is documented, the kernel is queryable, the first loop or surface is operating with real data, and your team can read the numbers without us in the room.

Will you tell us to cut tools our team relies on?

We recommend cuts only where the same job is already covered somewhere else, and we show the overlap before we suggest anything. Your team validates every line of the cut list. Nothing gets turned off during the audit itself.

How long does the audit take?

Two to three weeks for most stacks. Week one is inventory and access. Week two is overlap mapping and stakeholder interviews. You get the roadmap, the savings number, and the integration plan in a working session at the end.

LAYER 03 · DIAGNOSTIC

See how Tech Stack Audit fits into The Kernel.

Ninety minutes inside your portal beats a discovery deck. We come in with a hypothesis about where your kernel breaks, check it against the real data model, and hand you a one-page map of what to fix first.
