FIG. 01 · OVERVIEW

Most leads aren't ready to buy when they fill out the form. Most lead nurturing assumes they are. We design sequences that earn permission to keep talking and that know when to stop.

FIG. 02 · WHERE IT LIVES

Lead Nurturing is a Layer 03 service.

Every service we offer maps to one of four layers. Lead Nurturing sits in the Kernel — the layer that owns revops & hubspot admin.

LAYER 01
The Surface
Websites & customer portals
Public interface — read by humans, agents, AEO crawlers.
LAYER 02
The Voice
Brand & omni-channel
Story rendered consistently in every format an LLM might cite.
LAYER 03
LEAD NURTURING LIVES HERE
The Kernel
RevOps & HubSpot admin
Source of truth every agent calls first. Clean, opinionated, agent-ready.
LAYER 04
The Agents
AI consulting & co-pilots
Autonomous teammates running on the kernel.

Sequences that don't ghost or burn.

Two failure modes for nurture sequences. Mode one: ghost the lead — three emails over six weeks, none useful, then silence. Mode two: burn the lead — daily sends, escalating CTAs, the prospect unsubscribes by week two.

Real nurture is the work between. Sequences keyed to behavior, not arbitrary delays. Content that's actually useful at each step. Lifecycle stage progression that matches reality. Sales sees an MQL they can talk to because the lead has built context, not because the lead got tired of seeing your name.

The process.

PHASE01

Discover · existing sequences audit

Pull every active nurture. Score on opens, clicks, conversions. Identify what to retire, what to rebuild, what already works.

PHASE02

Expose · sequence architecture

Per persona. Per lifecycle stage. Behavior-keyed branching. Reviewed before any drafting.

PHASE03

Wire · build + automation

Emails written. Workflows wired in HubSpot. Branching real. Lifecycle progression automated. Sales handoff clean.

PHASE04

Operate · monitor + tune

Weekly performance review. Branching iteration based on actual behavior. Quarterly content refresh.

Nurture that compounds.

OUT 01
Per-persona nurture sets
Each persona has a sequence. Each lifecycle stage has a path. No more one-size-fits-all blast.
OUT 02
Behavior-based branching
What the lead actually does drives where they go next. Not arbitrary 7-day delays.
OUT 03
Clean lifecycle progression
Lead → MQL → SQL transitions are automated and trustworthy. Sales sees an MQL they can talk to.
OUT 04
A measured handoff
When sales says "this MQL was bad," we have the data to fix the sequence, not just the lead.

Things people ask before booking.

Do you write the email content?

Yes. Every email in the sequence is written by us, in your voice, against the persona document. We don't hand off a workflow with placeholder text.

How long should a nurture be?

3–7 emails is typical for a lifecycle stage. Longer sequences are usually a sign of bad branching — the same content repeated until something sticks. We branch instead.

What if leads opt out?

That's the system working. Suppression is part of the nurture. Leads who opt out aren't buyers; the sequence respected their decision and saved your sales team the call.

Do we need to be on HubSpot for this to work?

Strongly preferred. The whole point is that lifecycle data, automation, and reporting all live in one source. We have adapted the model to Salesforce + Pardot and to HubSpot + custom data layers, but timelines double and the kernel is harder to keep clean over time.

What does success look like at 90 days?

Most kernel engagements move you from L1 (Disconnected) to L3 (Instrumented) inside one quarter. That means: clean kernel, working assistants, teams trust the numbers. L4 and L5 are where the compounding starts. L3 is where the pain stops.

LAYER 03 · DIAGNOSTIC

See how lead nurturing fits into The Kernel.

Ninety minutes inside your portal beats a discovery deck. We come in with a hypothesis about where your kernel breaks, check it against the real data model, and hand you a one-page map of what to fix first.
