Inbound Sales.
Sales process built for inbound.
Inbound sales is fundamentally different from outbound: the buyer arrived already informed, often already half-decided. The process has to match that reality. We build the whole inbound motion — qualification, discovery, demo, close — against it.
Inbound Sales is a Layer 03 service.
Every service we offer maps to one of four layers. Inbound Sales sits in the Kernel — the layer that owns revops & hubspot admin.
A sales motion built for the informed buyer.
The buyer who fills out your form has spent two hours on your site, asked an LLM about your competitors, read your G2 reviews, and watched your founder's LinkedIn videos. They're not new to the conversation — they're testing whether you say the same things in person that you say on the surface.
Inbound sales has to match that reality. The discovery call isn't a discovery call; it's a confirmation. The demo isn't a demo; it's a deepening. We build the motion to respect what the buyer already did.
The process.
Discover · inbound audit
How are inbound leads currently handled? Where do they leak? Interviews with reps. Map the actual handoff and where it breaks.
Expose · inbound playbook
Per persona. Per lead source. Qualification criteria and discovery questions written for an informed buyer. Reviewed before rollout.
Wire · build + integrate
Playbooks live in HubSpot. Workflows handle handoffs. Materials surface in deal records. Reps train on the new motion.
Operate · weekly reviews + tuning
Weekly pipeline reviews. Win/loss analysis. Playbook iteration based on what closes.
An inbound motion that closes.
Things people ask before booking.
Do you do outbound sales too?
Inbound is our focus. We can advise on outbound, but most engagements are inbound-first. The buyer behavior we describe doesn't apply to cold outreach in the same way.
How is this different from sales process optimization?
Sales process optimization is the architecture (deal stages, properties, workflows). Inbound sales is the motion run on top of it. They're complementary — most teams need both.
Do we need to be on HubSpot for this to work?
Strongly preferred. The whole point is that lifecycle data, automation, and reporting all live in one source. We have adapted the model to Salesforce + Pardot and to HubSpot + custom data layers, but timelines double and the kernel is harder to keep clean over time.
What does success look like at 90 days?
Most kernel engagements move you from L1 (Disconnected) to L3 (Instrumented) inside one quarter. That means: clean kernel, working assistants, teams trust the numbers. L4 and L5 are where the compounding starts. L3 is where the pain stops.
See how inbound sales fits into The Kernel.
Ninety minutes inside your portal beats a discovery deck. We come in with a hypothesis about where your kernel breaks, check it against the real data model, and hand you a one-page map of what to fix first.
